So I became a mom at an early age, my oldest (Still my baby boy) is 18. I am currently 27 w 3 d pregnant. We also have 4 other children ages, 3, 6, 14 and 15. Needless to say our life is very busy and crazy at times but I love our big family ❤

I found out yesterday that our oldest is scheduled to ship to basic training for the ARMY on December 27th. This hit me like a ton of bricks. Don't get me wrong, I am beyond proud but scared to death at the same time. I knew this day was coming as he's been working towards this for almost a year, however I don't think I could ever be fully prepared. I am an emotional wreck. I hope this will get easier, I'm sure these hormones aren't helping any.

I am very thankful to have raised such a brave young man and look forward to being able to spend Thanksgiving, his 19th birthday and Christmas with him before he goes off to prepare serving our country.
