I have an assignment where I need to create a list of 25 things I can do with a high school diploma, similar to Peggy McIntosh’s list about white privilege. (http://www.racialequitytools.org/resourcefiles/mcintosh.pdf) I’m struggling to come up with scenarios where a high school education is a privilege- so here’s the question:

have you or someone you know ever been in a situation where you felt at a disadvantage because you didn’t have a high school diploma?

or

what experiences have you had where you were benefitted by having your diploma?
