Am I asking for too much ?

My husband and I both work pretty much full time. He sometimes gets done early around noon or 1/2 in the afternoon.

I always work til 4. Our son is in daycare till 4 when I’m off.

Most days my husband has at least some time to himself after work before our son gets home. During the week even though I work with kids all day and come home to a toddler I don’t complain I love my son and being with him.

On the weekends, when our son is up, I like us all to spend time together. Sometimes that’s just all being in the same room other times that’s let’s go do fun fall things. But my husband thinks I’m asking for too much on the weekends. He says he needs more space but he genuinely gets so much alone time and space during the week - I don’t understand. I’m asking for two days ... is that too much to ask ?
