So I’m after opinions from women who have had both c section and vaginal birth or even just a positive planned c section story.

I’m 38+4, my baby boy has been measuring 4 weeks ahead and is head down but in posterior position. I know that ultrasounds can be wrong but my husbands family have big babies (SIL had a ten pound boy recently).

I’m so nervous about serious tearing, prolapse and shoulders getting stuck due to his potential size. I’m seeing my dr in a few days to discuss a planned c section as I feel the pros outweigh the cons in this situation.

I’ve read a lot of women needing forceps, vacuum or emergency c section due to baby in a posterior position which makes my decision feel even more like the right one.

Basically, I’m wanting to hear stories of planned c sections and if they went well or if people preferred vaginal delivery if they had both.
