Big Baby?

My last ultrasound was last week at 32w6d because my pregnancy is high risk. During this ultrasound the doctor mentioned that my baby was already 5lbs and measuring at 35w2d. I don’t have gestational diabetes and everything else looks fine. If my baby gets any bigger they said they would consider a c/s or inducing me. Has this happened to anyone else what was the outcome?

I would not let that be a reason I get induced or have a c-section. ultrasounds can be wrong. with my last the ultrasound tech said I would have a big baby 9+ pounds. he was 7 pounds! so not even close!

Ultrasounds can be 2lbs off. Nothing to worry about.

I’m also a high risk pregnancy due to a placenta issue and PIH. I’m 32 weeks and ultrasound shows my babe is also 5lbs. EEK!

Nope my last one and my current one both measured 5lbs at the 32/33 week mark. No talk of induction or csection for me. I just have big babies. My first was 8lbs and my second was 9lbs. I’m hoping for something between that this time. Haha.
