After almost a full year of trying we have a positive test. I'm about 6 weeks along, but it is going to be a long road. I have Lupus and POTS which will be difficult to manage while pregnant, as the medications I took are not good for the baby. This is my first pregnancy and I'm absolutely terrified that something will go wrong. Im very lucky because my boyfriend of 3 years is by my side and is so supportive all the time. He was so excited when I told him, he cried, and now he always has his hand on my belly. I'm nervous to tell any of our family or friends just because of how high risk the pregnancy is. But I'm trying to stay positive and do everything I can to keep us both healthy.
