Does sex really help to induce labor?

Question

Only a couple weeks out from my due date. Just curious if any mamas have had success with sex helping to induce labor naturally? I am going to start drinking red raspberry lead tea to help prepare my uterus for labor tomorrow. Just wondering what methods people have had success with and specifically if sex ever helped anyone’s labor get going.

I was 41 weeks, had been walking for 3 days, had sex and contractions started 30 minutes later, baby was born 6 hours later.

Nope. I wore my poor husband out by having sex every night. I got to 41 weeks, went walking around for hours at a shopping centre and FINALLY went into labor that night.
