Baby girl name

Am I wrong in being upset....

My husband and I were round his parents the other day and they were asking about names.

We told the name we really liked and my mother in law and sister in law both said they "hated" it. Actually used the word "hate" and "eeer thats gross"

Said that we shouldn't call our baby tht name as it would be bullied!!!

I had literally just said how much we loved it and how meaningful it was to us.

Im really upset and its put me off the name now
