We have been trying for almost 6 years and had 3 miscarriages and an ectopic with tube removal. My last cycle was normal for 6 days followed by 6 days of spotting. I called my OB for a work up because of the irregular cycle, wanted to make sure everything was ok. The spotting stopped on Wednesday morning before my appointment. All checked out fine and he was able to confirm my ovary with the tube was most likely to ovulate this month. Now, because we have been on this train for SOO long, I havent doen an opk in years. When we first started trying I used them and believed I ovulated around day 16, also when I got the most ewcm. I ovulate every month, from one ovary or the other but there is never anyway to tell if its the good side. Since the OB comfirmed my good side was good to go I didnt want to miss O so I bought some strips. I'd gotten a little ewcm at the end of the week, like every month and got a positive opk Friday which was day 14, earlier then I expected. Figured I'd go with it. BUT today, the ewcm is flowing big time and the test is negative. The ewcm usually follows this patter so its not abnormal. Now, I'm wondering if I have had my timing wrong all along. We have been dtd most when there is the most mucus but Ive already ovulated, this month at least. Does anyo e else get the most ewcm AFTER ovulation?
