BFP before AF.. do I wait for AF to not show to make it official?

Hi Ladies!

I got my BFP yesterday at 9 DPO. Does that make me officially pregnant? Or do I have to wait to be sure AF doesn’t show? I’m just super nervous that AF will come anyways ... It’s my first pregnancy if it isn’t obvious lol!
