Kitchen remodel before & after! What do you think?

Here’s the way it was when we bought the house. Full 1990s oak with a giant oak fluorescent light box on the ceiling. Waaay too much.

We had the cabinets professionally painted, swapped the white laminate for quartz, and just had the marble backsplash installed. We scraped the ceiling and had recessed LED lighting put in and the oak light box taken out, plus pendant lighting installed over the island.

The grout is still curing on the backsplash, so everything’s dusty and the oven is pushed out from the wall. The backsplash gets sealed tomorrow, our new fridge gets delivered Friday, and then everything will be done in the kitchen! I originally wanted to do new flooring, but I actually don’t hate the oak now that it’s not all over the walls and ceiling too.
