Do dermatologists still recommend dove soap to wash face?

I know it use to be recommended as a good facial cleanser, but it is that still the case? Or nothing in bar form, period ???

My facial lady told me not to use Dove it clogs pores. BUT one time I got a real bad allergic reaction to Proactive so I called my DR. he recommended I wash my face with Dove (white Bar), and keep my face under running water. I did that and it worked. 🤷‍♀️

My dermatologist told me not to use bar soap, peroxide or alcohol on my face. But I use dove bar soap on it anyways & I LOVE IT. it doesnt dry out my face the way other products do.

I wouldn’t put it on my face, it makes my face tight and red. I use actual cleansers for my face like biotherm or Avene

Don’t know about dermatology, but Dove is all I use and constantly get compliments about my skin, It’s very rear I get a bump... I guess it depends on your skin type 🤷‍♀️
