How long does it take cancer to develop?

Question

High risk hpv... how long does it take cancer to develop? I've heard 10-30 years & I've heard 1-5 years! I had a biopsy 6 months ago & everything came back fine. 
So I doubt cancer would develop this quick?

I have low risk hpv and at first I was in shock and feared I could pass it. But I didn't, me and my partner have been together for 3 years now and he is fine. HPV is not enough  studied, so don't worry. From the research I've done, even having high risk HPV doesn't mean you will have cancer, it's about not letting it create injuries in your cervix and getting every 6 months a Pap test done. Don't be scared. You're going to be fine if you test every 6 months.

I test for positive for the same as you .. I was fine for year other ten flare ups on my cervixs when pregnant . Well last year (2017 ) I went under sever surgeries for it I had a punch hole biopsy and a cold knife Cone biopsy. I ended up having stage 0 cervical cancer . Was scheduled for a hysterectomy earlier this year when we found out I was pregnant with this baby. I will be having a hysterectomy after him! I. An tell you to continually get tested An checked out . There is no set time period as  it is all based on your body and how your body decided to react to the virus at any given time!
