How often should a 3 week old feed?

My son goes 4 hours and has 4/5oz is this normal ? Formula

If he's ok with that then it's fine. If hes asking for it early around 3 hours then I'd give it to him then too.

I nursed my babies every 2-3 hours. Especially the first few (7) weeks. After that sometimes there was 4 hours between nursing when they accidentally slept longer than usual😏. Follow the hunger signs of your baby. doesnt matter if you nurse or formulafeed. Just adjust te quantity if your baby want’s to drink more frequently. I myself, did not have a lot of milk in quantity (quality was great😜) so maybe there are some differences in that and the time between feedings.

Breast milk or formula? Nursing babies - pretty much stay on the boob for the first 6 weeks, but roughly every 2 hours. Pumped breastmilk- 1-1.5 ounces for every hour and need to eat every 2-3 hours. No idea about the “rules” for formula. Either way, be sure you’re following pace feeding + baby’s cues! But typically no more than 3 ounces at a time is the recommendation.
