You want me to take off my pants?

First ultrasound was today! Just knew for sure they would do a vaginal one. Got in the room and the nurse told me to lay down on the table. And I said, don’t you want me to take off my pants??
And she said um no this will be abdominal
My husband said at least buy her dinner first!

LOL when I went for my first ultrasound, they did do a vaginal one and my husband was with me and he cracked jokes the whole time. Thank the lord the lady was really nice 😆😆

Not as bad as my second ultrasound experience! I went in and my first was vaginal so when he came in and gave me the cloth to put over my lap, here I am taking off my pants and undies right in front of him, my step mother and husband. When he realizes what I was doing he was like no no this isn’t going to be vaginal 🤦‍♀️ it then took me about 5 mins of tumbling trying to get my legs back in my pants and the awkwardness was to the max 😂😂

I was shocked the other way. They didn’t tell me on the phone when I scheduled my first OB visit that we’d be doing a u/s at all. And they even said the subsequent appointment would be “the first ultrasound”. I came in expecting a blood test and some chit chat and got a vaginal u/s all up in my business! 😂

Hahaha! 😂 I'm jealous. I went for mine today at 7 weeks and it was transvaginal. They got all up in there!

I said the same thing to my gastroenterologist. Right before going under for my colonoscopy.

I had my first transvaginal at 25 weeks they had to check to see how long my cervix was when I knew I probably was gonna end up w a C-section anyway (but I tried natural) and I did have a C-section so I didn’t need it which I knew I was PISSED!

My first and second ultrasounds were vaginal. Everyone after that wasnt. It was awkward thought having to go to the 20 week anatomy scan because me and my boyfriend invited his mom because she was driving us and very excited about the baby. She also was having a bad day and it was a way to help cheer her up a little. When the nurse came in and put a towel over my lap and said that I had to pull my pants down to my thighs so they had the access to my entire uterus and cervix without the possibility of the gel getting on my clothes I almost died. My boyfriends mom sat next to me talking to me while I'm uncovered in all the wrong areas other then the towel that they kept pulling and moving. It was fine and she didnt end up seeing anything but it was still kinda embarrassing.

Ive had 3 vaginal ultrasounds. Let me just say youre not missing out. I have my 4th and last vagionally at the end of this month.
