we’re 16 and in high school. so my best friend is talking to a guy right now and he asked her today to be his girlfriend and she said yes. but the thing is that she’s still hung up on her ex. he talks shit about her too but she still loves him. and she found out today that he lost his virginity to his new girl. WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP HER MOVE ON FULLY? i think it’s so unfair to the new guy who likes her a lot if she’s still in her feelings about her ex.

The best thing you can do is be honest and open about what you think but also support her. I was 16 once and had a bf that I loved so much and lost my virginity to him he was already 18. Stayed together for a year and things got bad ended up breaking up and even tho we weren’t together we would still look for me called me drunk saying he loved me and missed me when he was sober he would act like he hated me it went on for year I would do anything to see him and he would cheat on the girls he was with with me. But I did it for Love I was confused for a lot of years. Met him in 2009 and until last year I saw him and yes had sex he had a Gf but that time I did it for fun. I got over him before I had my son in 2014. It’s weird his the only ex I dream about constantly I’m still in touch with him but I haven’t had sex or any person to person contact . It takes time to get over someone depending on how much you love them.
