I say yes. My bf is taking me out of a bad situation. I love his parents and family, they are all so nice to me and they listen to us when we speak and support us. Meanwhile my parents hate him and always say cruel things and judge him and his family. And they try to manipulate me into thinking he’s bad, saying Im gonna end up poor with him or get pregnant and be on the streets. My parents always want to be right and never let me speak my opinion, its always a lecture instead of a debate. 
So yeah I say its a good idea but depends on your situation 😂 If you have good parents Id suggest staying so they can pay for all your shit. If I stay my parents will pay for my college but if I leave I gotta pay it myself 🤷🏻‍♀️ But Im leaving so..
