Mental Breakdown Point
My daughter is 18 months. She was sleeping great through the night until a couple weeks ago. I thought maybe it was because we moved around the same time so it was new environment and we also switched her crib to the day bed because she kept climbing out of the crib and I was scared she was going to bust her head open. Now that it’s gone on for almost three weeks now, though, I’m starting to think it’s a sleep regression and if that’s the case this is definitely the worst one so far. I’m 20 weeks pregnant now, I work first shift which means I have to get up at 4 in the morning to get ready for work and my daughter will not sleep through the night anymore. She was going to bed at 8 just fine all on her own. Last night she didn’t go to bed until after 9, woke up at midnight and refused to go back to sleep until after 5:00 when I dropped her off at my moms on my way to work. I feel like I’m losing my mind. I’ve tried everything in the books, online, advice from her pediatrician. My moms a nurse and has had me try a few things. Literally nothing works. I’m so exhausted I can’t think straight half the time. I just need her to start sleeping through the night again before I have a mental breakdown. 😩
