Back injury?

I’m 36+5 today. And I was 17 when I slipped and herniated a disk in my back. I had surgery on it in November 2011 and have a 14% disability rate in it now. They removed part of the disk that was compressing my sciatic nerve and cut away some of my spine. Since I got pregnant it’s been hell in terms of back pain and sciatica. My sciatic pain gets so bad to the point I’m crying and can’t sit, stand or lay down. I just have to be in a hands/knees position. I was talking to my mom tonight after I have been having excruciating back pain all day and she suggested that I should talk to the doctor and ask about having a c-section rather than trying to give birth naturally and who knows what could happen to my back then. I’ve lived with chronic pain in it since I was 17 and was told that when I got pregnant it’d get bad because of the weight of the baby. I was just wondering if anyone else did or knew someone else who went through something similar?
