Think I’ll be induced?

I’m 32w5d with my first baby. We had our last ultrasound at 30w6d and he measured 4lbs 11oz, the 96th percentile. I don’t want to be induced, but does anyone think the doctor will suggest it due to his size? I have my next appt tomorrow, thanks

No. Ultrasounds can be two pounds off, and if they think your baby is too big then most of the time the schedule s C section

The doctor will probably suggest it, just because many doctors are “induction happy”. Women have been birthing big babies without intervention forever! You decide what you want and go from there. The doctor can suggest all he wants, but ultimately its your birth.

Ultrasounds are not exact science. It’s a guess. I had an ultrasound the day I was induced and she measures over 5 and a half pounds. She was born the next morning weighing 4lbs 8oz.

Definitely not. I went at 30 weeks and he measured ALMOST 4 pounds so nah
