At what age do you take your kids out trick or treating for the first time?

I took my son last year (4 months) and this year (16 months) but not really to get candy. Just go walk around and visit the neighbors.

We went the first time this year. Our oldest is 3. Baby is 22 months.

My son was 10 months when he went for the first time last year, today was his second time!!

We’ll probably do Boo at the Zoo next year but actual trick or treating in the neighborhood we’ll probably wait til our daughter can walk well on her own, keep interest and say trick or treat and thank you. So probably 3.
