Bottles ?? When is the right time

When will you be taking away the bottle? So many moms on here are talking about stopping bottles already. My son has no interest in the sippy with milk! He loves his sippy and can use every kind no issue at all. I know they say you should switch after year because of their teeth but I don’t want to push him to do something he’s not ready for

My daughter won’t give up her milk in a bottle either. She will take a sippy with a water all day but the moment she takes a sip from it and there is milk in it she will push it away and say no. 
I keep trying to get her to take it from a sippy but no luck. Maybe someone else will have some advice on switching over, just know you’re not alone.

My son only likes to chew on sippy cups 🤦‍♀️ I try giving him milk and he sucks on it if I hold it and then spits it out

Try warming up the milk in the sippy. It’s too good to resist! I also only use the sippy cups with straws and that works for my girl. Right now I’m down to only 1 bottle a day, and the other 2 replaced by straw sippys

My LO turned 1 on Monday & we got rid of bottles last Friday. She doesn’t take that much milk from the sippy cup, but eats so well that the doc said not to worry about her drinking milk.

We went cold turkey on her first birthday. However, we knew she liked the milk and we knew she loved it in the sippy cup so we decided to just go for it. This girl has been stealing her brother's milk cups as soon as she sees it hit a surface she can reach it from since she was mobile. 🤣 We did have the advantage of a 2 year old brother who showed her the ropes but it went great. 👍
