Is there a such thing as prenatal meds that won't stop you up??

I have been so stopped up this pregnancy that I don't even want to take my prenatal pills anymore I take colace and that does no good I'm am pooping what feels like rocks with sharp edges and now have hemorrhoids I know being pregnant will cause you to be stopped up but I feel like it's my prenatals causing it help me before I explode lol

I just take non iron prenatal vitamins for the most part, and one in a while I’ll take one with iron. But...I have excessive iron levels too. 15.9 is my average & 16 usually signals hemochromatosis, which is really bad for your liver. Unless you’re seriously anemic, i recommend alternating...take one iron one every few days and take the non iron ones a majority of the time. (Normally thr gummies don’t have iron.)

Also had to stop taking the ones with extra iron. Now on a normal multivitamin for women + an extra pill with the required folic acid

You can also ask your doctor for a prescription prenatal vitamin, some have stool softeners already in them along with iron and many times insurance will cover them if you get the prescription.

Yes try a whole foods vitamin instead of a synthetic one, they are easier to digest. I take pure synergy

I switched between a prenatal with and without iron every other day because of this. It worked
