What color will my baby’s eyes be??

Question

Will my baby’s eyes be blue? Dad has light light blue and I have light brown. Her eyes have been grey since birth and in the flash they have a blue tint to them. I wanna day they’ll be blue but they’re so dark so I’m not too sure! Other babies who have blue eyes have been icy blue since birth. 🤷🏼‍♀️ thoughts?? 
PS she’s almost 4 months old!

I think they will be light. Here’s how my littles transitioned.

They look like they will be blue/grey. Hard to tell completely though until at least 6 months as they can still change a lot, and even change in shade up to a year old, though they won’t change dramatically like from blue to brown or something by that point.

I have brown eyes, hubby has blue. All of our kids have blue. But I must carry the gene as that’s the only way for them to have it

You really won’t know just yet. They could get lighter or darker. My sons eyes looked just like that and they were hazel by the time he was 12months. He’s a little over two now and they’re hazel still but have more light brown in them.

My eyes are Grey... And was born with Grey eyes.. It's on my driver's license and birth certificate.. She may jsut have Grey eyes. My. Mom and dad had green eyes.

Are your eyes a lighter brown or hazel? Light brown sometimes means hazel. Hazel eyes are a mix of blue and brown genes. Eye color is a little more complicated than people think. There are two different genes at least that control it, with a copy from each parent for both genes.  Blue is very recessive, both genes must be blue from both parents. Brown is usually dominant. Hazel and green eyes are due to incomplete or co dominance.
