Sorry for the long post...

Got the worst call of my life today. They have canceled my <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> cycle after 5 days of meds.

I had my baseline ultrasound Friday th 26th started my stims on Sunday the 28th. Ultrasound and blood work on Wednesday the 31st got the message they were adding a progesterone check to the blood work and that there was fluid around my right ovary. I needed to start Ganirelix Acetate asap and take twice daily and to schedule my next check for today Nov 2nd. I knew something was not right but told myself it was going to be ok. Went to my appointment this morning the ultrasound tech said I had a lot of follicles I was thinking that's great. Went to work and checked the messages system several times as I wanted to be able to schedule my next check for next week. When my phone started ringing and I saw the number I knew it was not good. I was told I prematurely ovulated and that there is nothing that can be done. They are putting me on prevara for 10 days and that I need to call when my cycle starts they will then put me on birth control and we can try when they do their next <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> round in January.

I don't know what to think. 13 shots, who knows how much money and all time put into paperwork, drs appointments, balancing work schedule to make sure I had time off, driving(I'm an hour from my drs office and 8 hrs from the center where my <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> was scheduled with) all for nothing. Not to mention everything else we've had to do to even get the ok to move forward with it.
