We’re approaching the last three months of year 2 and we’re going through a very rough time. Previous routines such as bedtime are now becoming impossible with fits and power struggles. She runs around laughing because she thinks it’s funny. I try ignoring, talking calming, walking away and giving space but nothing works. It always ends in her crying. She’s still in a crib and has to roll around for an hour sucking on her binkie to go to sleep. I can’t even imagine having to transition to a toddler bed and getting rid of the binkie because she’ll never stay in the bed and she’ll just have to cry herself to sleep every night. Starting to feel like a failure and I can’t even imagine having another one.
