Exercise during STIMS????

My clinic told me during IVF orientation that I can’t exercise at all once I start injections. They said only walking. I am curious if anyone else was told that? I don’t do high intensity work outs. I just run (slow) and do bar class which is isometric movements....so annoying that everything I enjoy in life will be out on hold during meds.....🤬🤬

Unless you want to risk ovarian torsion and potential loss of your ovary you will do what your clinic told you to.

I was never told anything about exercise. I run daily and kept running daily. The only day I didn’t run was the day of retrieval. I think each office is different

I was told the same thing. No lifting anything heavier than a gallon of milk too. It’s only a few days —the potential dangers sound horrible.

Ive been told similar advice...to just keep it to long strolls. Definitrly will be a bit if a challenge to just sit still for so long, but hopefully all worth it...!

My dr told me no intense exercising and definitely no cycling. He did encourage me to walk though. Which I would have done anyways.

I was told nothing more than a brisk walk from day 1 of stims and no to lift anything more than a few lbs after day 3 of stims.

I didn’t do anything with my first ivf round. Literally just rested. It failed. About to start my second round next week and I’m going to carry on as normal this time. I wouldn’t over do it but I think exercise is good x

Ok. Thanks for the replies.... did they tell you when you can resume? They told me not until 4-5 weeks after transfer🤦🏻‍♀️
