Would you stay?

Would you stay with someone who, for the 3rd time went to go binge drinking & doing hard drugs (coke & speed) when things go rough? 
These last three times when we broke up, he would go out and drink for days and do drugs. He did it again 3 nights ago for two days straight. He came home, drunk and high off speed. I even had to take him to urgent care at 2am for his twitching, rapid breathing, chest pain & hallucination. We were there for two hours hooked up to an IV, oxygen & an ECG machine monitoring his heart. On top of all that I’m 25 weeks pregnant. He is the father of my child, and this is my first I’m also only 20 years old as well as him. I’m just so lost and scared if I decide not to stay, will he do this again? It stressed me out so much within those two days I only got 6 hours of sleep. I even took a sleeping pill it didn’t put me to sleep..

That's extremely dangerous to have someone like that around a baby. Seen way too much shit that goes wrong when a crackhead is near an infant, I would leave him ASAP.

Pregnant or not I wouldn’t stay with someone who consistently turns to drugs or booze when they don’t know how to handle things. He needs to grow up and learn other methods. Don’t get me wrong...having a few drinks to relax or unwind when things are rough I consider normal every once in a while but not as a the constant way to deal with adult life.

If you leave and he does it again, its not your fault. It was never your fault. You have to do what is best for you and your baby. And it doesn't sound like being with him is what's best.

Why do you guys keep breaking up? That’s not functional. I would evaluate the whole scenario. And you sure as shit aren’t doing drugs and walking into my home when that child is born .. life is about to get 10x harder for you both and it doesn’t seem like either of you cope very well. You have a lot to consider!

Heck no. Time to think about your baby and youself now. Do you want your baby to grow up saying "My father is a drug addict, i grew up watching him high and drunk, and i had to grow up fast to take care of myself." Cause they will. Your child will be around this man and thats what your child will experince and grow up remembering.

You don't want that kind of man helping raise your child, he's unstable and immature, he needs to get some help, not raise a child. I know its hard, but it'll be even harder for your child to grow up with that kind of environment.

It’s a very dangerous concept to deal with but also it’s like him as a person needs to get his mind right. Give him a few options give him a chance to change and help him change don’t just obey him to not do it.. ask him if he loves you and your baby.. and if he does tell him you WANT him to change and learn and grow, too teach your unborn.. I’ve dealt with the same exact thing, literally. I made my choice to leave with my child and him having nothing to do with our baby.. didn’t take him over night but he’s changed.. quit doing coke he has a few beers but that’s here at home and honestly it’s good to have a good outlook of change.

My brother died because of Heroin so I’d leave.  Even now with a second baby on the way and 7 years of being together I would walk right on out if hubby did hard drugs.  He’s well aware.
