I've become extremely sexually active with my boyfriend. We've always used condoms and I've never gotten pregnant but the fear of getting pregnant is constantly stressing me out. I'm really against taking things that mess up my body but I feel like taking the pill will give me a peace of mind. I have extreme PMS (extreme mood swings, bloating for days, and bad cramps.) I've heard all of these horror stories about how birth control causes horrible side effects like weight gain, nausea, mood swings (which I have horrible ones already), etc. I also live an extremely busy life and I cant afford to let any of these side effects get in the way. I went to my gynecologist and she did prescribe me some pills but I'm just so scared to take them. Any advice?
