What do you do for a living?

Just trying to see because I’ll need to support three children, a dog and myself as things are changing. Min wage here is 10.75. 
Rent here ranges between 1300-2000 dollars. Do you really think I can afford to live lol. I’d like to buy my home but yeah probably won’t happen.

I am a licensed mental health clinician with my Masters Degree in Psychology. I am a lead clinical mental health assessor and I make pretty good bank. I recently bought a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom 3000 square ft home by myself with only my income and I can afford to pay $1850/mo mortgage plus all bills and still have plenty left over for myself, a future child, my cat, my dog, and my baby turtle with only my income.

I’m a dental hygienist and do hygiene in an office and work at university. I have a masters degree. But to be a hygienist you only need an associates degree. Or depending on where you live you can be a dental assistant and train on the job. That is the one who assists the dentist. I do the cleanings

I’m a coffee shop chain Store Manager, and I make really good money, have full paid vacation and sick pay, and great benefits. The work life balance is garbage though. After my second is born, I may have to reconsider my career.

I’m a Controller for an Engineering firm. I have a Bachelors in Accounting and make pretty good money. You can take some online classes and get a bookkeeping certificate and make anywhere from $16-$20 per hour. Those classes are usually just a few weeks and are also fairly cheap. Will definitely give you a leg up for standard bookkeeping.
