Our tradition is to go black Friday shopping and come home and wrap presents that we got from shopping while setting up the tree. It's a lot of fun we heat up thanksgiving leftovers and snack on them late into the night while we are setting up the tree and have some hot coco or cider.

My grandparents do the beginning of November so when we go there for thanksgiving we can enjoy the Christmas decorations then and at Christmas being we only see them ever couple months depending on the time of year and at my house we do it sometime in December

November 1st is the first day of Christmas imo. Halloween decorations come down and Christmas decorations go up same day. 😂😅

We always put ours up thanksgiving night. We do it this way so when we go black friday shopping we can wrap the presents and put them under the tree right away. My mom always did it this way and so does my brothers.
