Do you think it’s weird to be a housewife? Do you judge housewives/homemakers for not working?

Why should I judge ? Being a house wife/Sahm is just as much work as a 9/5 job. You’re constantly cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, dishes ect. Why judge it ? If you can afford to stay home then why not ? I’m a housewife/ stay at home mom & I love it ! Some people much rather work and make money. I work to keep a nice home & happy children and one less bill for nanny/daycare

No, I only judge housewives that have maids and housekeepers that their husband is paying for..that's usually only super rich people but still. Like what do you do all day lol

I personally would go crazy not working. Plus I like having my own money. We have a joint account since we got married but kept our separate accounts as well. I've had a job since I was 15 tho so got used to having my own spending money. I feel bad using his money.

Ima stay at home mom. Before this I judged a lot of moms like wow why doesn’t she clean more or why isn’t she doing something. Well I work more now being a stay at home mom then ever before. I do all the house work. Inside and out. Laundry, dishes, deep cleaning, taking care of an almost two year old, a dog who is the biggest mess maker, mowing the lawns, pulling the weeds, grocery shopping, making breakfast, lunch, dinner. Any house duty falls on me. So now I’m not so judgmental, I’ve worked my ass off getting paid and still work my ass off being a stay at home mom!🤗

Nope. That’s what I do. My man make more then enough for us so I stay home and take care of our house and everything while he works.

I certainly don’t judge.. but I could never depend on any other human being for money. I’ve seen that situation go wrong so many times that I won’t ever put myself in a situation to give someone that much leverage.

Nope and idgaf if anyone judges me for it. My mom is one too and I've always admired her for it. My dude's family has made off base comments about me needing to find a job when I'm not around, but judgement from druggies and alcoholics don't bother him.

That's my role. If I do work again he only wants me to have specific jobs. Our views on women are traditional. Take care of food house husband kids. He is such a hard worker and takes care of everything so well I want him to come home to a clean house and warm food. He don't need to worry about that stuff
