Crib mattress too low??

Question

*we are painting now so it’s a little messy 
Will the mattress height be high enough for her while she’s a newborn? I think it’ll be perfect for when she’s bigger so she doesn’t climb out but I’m worried about reaching her and laying her in there. There’s only one setting for the crib!

Depending on how tall you are it might be a pain in the ass for you reaching all the way down but the cot being at that height is perfectly safe for bub 😊

I have the same issue AND I will be having a csection so I will use the bassinet first (also have a pack n play with bassinet attachment for the downstairs) and grow into the crib.

I am pretty sure I have the exact same crib as you. It looks like my Jenny Lind crib. There are 4 different heights for the mattress you just have to move the mattress base up and screw it into those holes then lower as baby gets older.

Our crib is higher than yours, but still pretty low. I’m only 5’2 but I can reach into it fairly easily. When I have her she’ll be sleeping in our room I’m the bassinet for the first bit anyway
