Any body here from Nova Scotia?

I’m going for my first ultrasound this week and I want a picture of the baby. Do they automatically print it and give it to you or do you have to ask?

Hey! I’m from Halifax! Unfortunate you have to ask and I think even pay if you want a picture and CD of your ultrasound photo. Also, they don’t tell you the gender either, they send a letter! Rude! Here’s to a faulty health care system but free to have a baby and Great maternity benefits! Good luck! I’m going for mine in a few weeks so excited!

Most of the time you just got to the reception desk and ask for the photo. It’ll almost always be a profile of baby unless you ask for a different photo, ie the heart, babies feet.
