Stages of an IUI

Hi everyone! I’m about to begin my first IUI cycle and I’m just wondering what a typical cycle looks like? I had to contact my doctor on the first day of my period and go from there. Will I be visiting my doctor frequently? Are there many medications required? I want to be fairly aggressive with this treatment so I’m wondering what medications worked best. Thanks for your input and advice!
