My son is 2 months old an cries for mommy a lot my mil n my Bae wants me to just let him cry but idc what they think I can't just sit there n listen to him crying and not go to his rescue

so I tried it their way today and it was hard listening to him crying for 5 mins so finally I went n picked him up

my partner of 7 yrs(btw this is both our first child) said if I'm always picking him up every time he cries he won't learn how to solve problems on his own an I'm making it hard on myself in the long run

but I feel like he's only two months an if he wants mommy I'm coming running...

So my baby tired her best to make me feel bad n I know I'm wrong for saying this but I told her until you deliver a child and physically connect to them u won't know how hard it is to hear ur baby screaming mommy n you not do anything about it

What do you guys think n be honest am I wrong
