So I went 9days over and got booked in for induction!

Went to hospital all excited on Thursday at 2pm

I got started with the pessary and the 1st one did nothing I got the second around midnight and started getting period like pains very very mild ! This was around 11pm on the Thursday 😩

10 am on the Friday I was no further forward so they decided to break my waters . Which was fine 💦🙌🏼

I immediately started contracting and coped on gas and air until about 7pm on the Friday night ..

I then decided to get in the pool I have ALWAYS wanted a water birth

The second I got in was 10X worse pain so I went for the epidural as I had been labouring at 4cm for 8 hours now and was just tired . The only way I could describe it is I couldn’t be bothered any more I wanted to relax .

Once I had the epidural I felt great!!! I had a few hours sleep and waited to be examined ! 5 hours later (1am Saturday) I was still at 5cm ! They decided to start pitocin and was still happy and relaxed they checked me at 3am and I was finally at 10 Cm but wanted me to wait 2 hours before pushing.

I stopped my epidural so I could feel when to push By 5 am I felt every contraction and knew when to push it was the best feeling ! Wishing 35mins baby was born🙌🏼👶🏼

Kason arrived at 05:34 weighing a great 9lb 10

I had a 2nd degree tear and can honestly say with the epidural labour was the best experience of my life .
