Anyone else ify on getting a flu shot ?

I’m 7 weeks and I have my first doc apt on Thursday. I know the subject of a flu shot will come up, and I am still un sure of getting the flu shot while pregnant since I am still pretty early in my pregnancy and in the most sensitive weeks. 
Thoughts any one?

I got it at my first appointment at around 5 weeks.   No issues with it.  I never got the flu shot before.  But wasn’t going to take any risks this time around while pregnant.

I got mine at 6 weeks. The sooner you get it, the sooner you will build antibodies. The flu could seriously harm you and baby.

Get it!!! There’s too many complications from the actual flu that every pregnant woman should be aware and concerned about. 
I just got it last week and I was 5 weeks along. 
One less thing to worry about!

I’ve never had one before. I’ll wait until the second trimester to get it, if I get it at all. I’m all for vaccines. I just don’t really see the point of the flu shot. It’s just not very effective.

Get it! Pregnant women are at a much higher risk of developing complications if we get the flu. I understand a lot of people have concerns about the flu shot, but it’s your best shot of protection and it’s proven to lessen the symptoms and duration. It’s so so important to get a flu shot!!!!

I haven’t got it yet, but i plan to at my appt next Friday. I’ve had just a cold for the last week and that alone with being pregnant is MISERABLE. I honestly can’t fathom having the actual flu and being pregnant. I will definitely be getting it.

I ONLY get the flu shot when pregnant. My dr said we are at higher risk for it becoming pneumonia, sinus infection, other complications.  I got mine at my 8 week appointment. Got it with my son, too, and he is perfectly healthy.

I got mine. Just make sure if you do get it you get the shot not the nasal spray.

I got mine at 3 weeks 4 days (found out I was pregnant early). I didn’t want to take any chances - influenza can be very severe for you and the little one growing inside you.
