Flying at 32 weeks...good or bad?

Question

So we have booked a mini vacation to NY (we live in Louisiana) the week after Thanksgiving. It is a 4hr flight with one stop each way. 
When I tell people, they look at me like I’m crazy and say I probably shouldn’t be flying that late in my pregnancy. I’m due Jan 25th with my second (my 1st came three weeks early). 
My OB said it’s totally fine as long as its before 36weeks. She gave me a letter of permission to fly and all my records from this pregnancy “just in case”. 
My question is...Am I crazy for flying that far this late??? Lol TIA

I see no reason you can’t. I’m due Jan 27th and I’m flying for thanksgiving as well!

I don’t see any reason not to unless your doctor says otherwise or you are pregnant with twins (who could come early). Wear compression socks or tight boots to help with ankle swelling. Walking a little during the flight helps but I wear my tight cowboy boots and it prevents any ankle/foot swelling.

I flew at 32 weeks. I was high risk but cleared by doctor. Make sure you get an aisle seat so you can get up and walk as needed. I won’t lie, it was the most miserable I’ve ever taken mostly because I couldn’t get comfortable but taking that last trip before we became parents was worth it to me (we also hadn’t seen our families in over a year).

My doctor said that I can fly up to 36 weeks however i’m stopping at 33-34 so it just depends on what your doctor days

I’m due on Jan 28th and I’m flying for Christmas! It’ll be my last flight before our baby comes.. ☺️

I’m flying 2hrs as I will be 32 weeks. I’m not excited for it lol, but my midwife is ok with it. (Although she said she might not be if it was any later...)

I personally wouldn’t bc I’d fear something would happen.
