Recently, I’ve been taking Amoxicillin 500mg for a sinus infection. This past Friday (3 days ago), I had sex with my boyfriend with a condom. I am NOT taking birth control and never have taken birth control. Unfortunately, the condom broke but he realized it/felt it and took it out as soon as he realized. He did not ejaculate inside me and he says he was not close to “finishing.” Less than 1-2 hours later that SAME day, (I’d like to say less than 2 hours) I took “Take Action”/Levonorgestrel to ensure I would not get pregnant. Now, Sunday night I took another dose of my Amoxicillin antibiotic. Will this antibiotic interfere with the effectiveness of the Levonorgestrel I took? I’m very worried that this will interfere with my chances of pregnancy. I’ve tried looking it up, but every site contradicts each other and causing me to freak out even more.
