We are waiting currently at 29 weeks have one more US so hopefully they don’t ruin it before then 😊 
It has been amazing!! I don’t over buy clothes I have sheets and decorations that are unisex and I’m excited to find out the gender and go shopping for bubs once it’s born! 
I’d wait again any day

My mom waited with her first 2 boys. And they were waiting with me also. But while my mom was in labor with me(dad was briefly home to check on the boys) the nurse kept pestering her. "I know what you're having. Do you want to know? I can tell you." Eventually my mom caved. They were shutting her down for the night and would enduce again in the morning. So she called my dad to have him stay home until then and said (still a little drugged, very tired,and now pissed and annoyed) "oh by the way i know what we're having. We got our girl but it doesn't matter cause she's not coming out anyway"
So then she sat all night feeling disappointed in herself for caving into that nurse. By the time i was born and the doctor announced what i was (not knowing they ended up finding out the night before) he said he actually felt more excited about it than my parents were. 
I think good things are worth the wait and we have decided to wait. The nursery was easy to keep neutral btw. And now we get to make a baby name list for boys AND girls. Which has been super entertaining. And weve avoided all drama of "suggestions" from family members over stepping. -Ive found that when you tell someone you don't know what it is and you haven't picked out a name yet, they just assume we're not ready for the baby, let alone having the talk about circumcision yet. So the conversation usually spelt go any farther. 😂

I had wanted to wait, but my beloved has wanted to know since the stick turned pink. Our compromise is that the two of us know and no one else will. This is doing to be our only baby due the health and life complications. I didn't get the gender I was hoping for and I've been sad for a little while because of thing dreams that are not going to come to pass. But I'm glad I had a heads up. 
It gave me some time to process before the Small One gets here and I can start having some new dreams. And we can iorn out the last few details with names.

We waited and it was the best. I know it’s already exciting to just have the baby but it’s just that little bit better.

Our first we got the blood test at 9 weeks and knew by 11 or 12 weeks the results.
The next one may be a different story. I did not like being pregnant, I only want to do it one more time, but we’d really like a boy. So we will probably wait longer so that I’m more attached to the baby, can feel him or her moving so that if it is another girl, the gender disappointment will hopefully be easier because I’ll be more attached. I still don’t think I can wait all the way to birth though!

Never wanted to wait. We're having a little girl due in 9 days! I don't have anything to compare to as this is #1 but i feel like i have more of a connection knowing. I can talk to her in a more personal way....if that makes sense. But thats just my opinion 😊

I didn't want to wait so when I had my genetic testing I opted to go ahead and find out the gender.
