Miscarriage or blood clotting?

AF came yesterday and im having more blood clotting then i have had the last several periods.. we are TTC so im worried what if it wasnt a period but a miscarriage?? I was only a day late into my period so surely its just normal clotting right? I hope someone can give me a reasonable answer and not make me feel bad for not understanding whats going on.

I’m sure it will just be normal clotting. Some months are worse than others x

Last month was my worst period that I can ever remember, 3 days late and when it did come it lasted 9 days and like you I had clotting etc more than ever before. Saw the doctor and she was 95% sure it was a very early miscarriage but there was no way of telling.
