40 week appointment: what to expect?

Posting here bc you mommas have been through it! What can I expect at my 40 week appointment today? I’m currently 2 days overdue.

Just like the rest except you might be offered a cervical check and membrane sweep, you’ll discuss induction and schedule a possible ultrasound depending on your hospital policy,

Mine booked me a sweep to be done at 40w5d but i had her at 40w3d

I was starting contractions so I also had a nonstress test and she checked my cervix.

My 40w appointment was just like the rest of them. Some practices might schedule and induction but mine didn’t until 41w.
