How do you know when you’re ready?

My fiancé and I have talked about wanting a baby for a while now. Him is 22 and I’m 21. I know if I had to raise a child now it would be hard but I would make it work. Almost every time we have sec he mentions wanting a baby. How do you know when you’re ready? I’m just afraid that we can’t give him/her what she needs. 
I would love to be a mom and I know he really wants to be a dad.

Do you have your own place? Own cars? Do you have good jobs?

I would personally wait. You’re both still very young. Establish careers and buy a home before having a family.

Secure job, relationship, and home should be number one on your list before having a child. You don’t want to have one to struggle. Raising a child and struggling to do so can have huge negative impacts on your relationship. I’m 27 and I haven’t had a child yet because I have a lot of traveling I want to do before I settle. I dated a guy for 4 years and I’m glad I didnt have a child with him. Because even though he was who I was with, he ended up not being the guy for me. 
I’m all for waiting to have children. I’d rather have children in my 30s after I accomplished everything I wanted to accomplish.

If you’re financially, emotionally, & physically good. If you aren’t, it’s perfectly okay to wait a while longer.
