Is the sneak peek genetuc blood test accurate?

I just got my results, they said its a girl. But everything ive done was saying boy, could the test be wrong?

I've read some in here say it was wrong.
But what is everything else? Because there isn't a lot of ways to know the gender 😅

I did it at 9 + 2 and it’s been confirmed girl in 2 different ultrasounds.

My blood test was ‘inconclusive’. They weren’t able to get enough fetal dna from the blood drawl. For other people it worked though 🤷🏻‍♀️

It was accurate for me. Said girl at 14 weeks and somewhat confirmed at 20 week ultrasound 😂 baby’s legs were tight locked during ultrasound. Essentially after talking to nurses it’s roughly around 60-70% accurate when doing it at home, because we’re not professionals and contamination can occur. When you go to their offices the accuracies increase, but obviously none of it is 100% accurate.

Did the test at 11 weeks and it said GIRL. Totally didn’t believe it, lol, but at our 20 week ultrasound they said YEP GIRL!
I’ve read a BOY result has higher risk or error due to male partner/husband/male kids contamination.

I’ve done it with both my pregnancies, and it was correct both times- I have a daughter and we’re having a son next. Incorrect results are much more likely to happen if you get a boy result because that would mean you didn’t sterilize enough and it got contaminated. I actually don’t think I’ve ever heard of a girl result that ended up being wrong.

We did it and ours was correct, we even had it confirmed by two ultrasounds. I was however, a little skeptical of the results. From reading numerous reviews it does sound like a lot of the inaccurate tests are ones that state “boy” when they are having are actually having a girl. This can be due to cross contamination of the blood sample. I kept telling family to take the results with a “grain of salt” bc they could be inaccurate. Either way it was fun to do!

Ours was right. Even our 16 week ultrasound was wrong with my last pregnancy. So ours was more accurate than even an ultrasound.

We did ours at exactly 9 weeks and results came back a girl, even though all the family members said boy and even symptoms pointed to a boy but it’s confirmed she is a healthy little girl ☺️💓
