Staying in a marriage for the kids is a very shitty and unnecessary thing to do
Regardless of what you think, kids will pick up on your dislike for each other, and will grow up thinking that a shitty relationship is how it’s supposed to be. theyll remember how their parents were always unhappy, how their parents fought all the time, how tense holidays/ect were, how uncomfortable the house always felt because it was always tense between you 2 
A kid is better off with 2 separate, happy, healthy people for an example who show them that they can survive on their own and that everyone deserves happiness and not to settle for less than they deserve than 2 miserable, fake, married people as an example.

No my dad cheated on my mum and she stayed with him for the kids, it was awful seeing them so unhappy and having to hear the arguments all the time. Id never put my kids through that,

My mum stayed with my stepdad and it was the worst growing up like that. They hated eachother. 
I got divorced and it was great, I’m remarried and way more happy ☺️

No. My mom did this for years and it just made me hate being at the house with both my parents more than anything. I begged for them to be split up.
