Seen a doctor at the practice today other than my regular. He was going to go through my genetic testing and starts off “So what do you think you’re having?” This caught me off guard as that was the least of my concern and not the reason for the test. I said “for gender? - I don’t know. Girl” then he responds, “YEP”. Ummmmm ...okay. My spouse was not there since it wasn’t an ultrasound and he didn’t even ask if I wanted to know. It was just odd. Guess I had other expectations. I did pick up some female inspired named beers to surprise my husband. I suppose I’m glad he didn’t find out the same way.
