Late period or miscarriage?

I was supposed to start my period 11days ago. .... I've been under a lot of stress and have a 4month old baby who went through a 2week span of sleep regression.

12 days late and I start my period.. it wasnt gradual ... It was WHAM! Full blown period. I didn't take a test, so I have no way of knowing for sure. But could it just a be late start because of the stress? Or do you think I'm having a miscarriage?!?
