Transverse baby?

Question

Does anybody have experience with a transverse baby? Transverse means baby is side to side as opposed to breech or head down. I find out what position baby is in on Thursday but my gut says baby is transverse. My doctor talked about an ECV but I’m leery of that and we think it’s too late for baby to turn on it’s own as there’s no room in there anymore. Just hoping someone can share their experience with me, thanks!

My  1st born was transverse my whole pregnancy until I reached 40 weeks she was head down and came out 4 days before her due date. Believe me they will find a way to turn down I felt my baby turn down and it did hurt because she didnt have enough room so I felt it all🤦‍♀️

My 2nd was like that at her 36 week ultrasound saw the doctor at 37 weeks they did a quick scan to see if she was head down she was not and was turning to more breech so they scheduled me for a c section for the next week ( her belly was down so they said if I went into labor it be really dangerous for me and her) got to the hospital and she was head down ( only took the weekend) they induced me instead in case she decided to turn again. I flat out refused doctors turning the baby they wanted to with my 1st shes was breech come time to deliver she was head down.

Following! I’m 35 weeks, measuring 36 weeks, and baby is transverse with head on my left side and feet to the right (ultrasound yesterday). Don’t see my doctor to discuss this until next week and I’m soooo eager. Makes me nervous that by the time I see the doctor I’ll be measuring 37 weeks! If baby doesn’t turn need a c section from what I can tell. Very curious when that’ll be scheduled for.

My baby was transverse until 37 1/2 weeks, but she is now head down at almost 39 weeks. Check out spinningbabies and talk to your doctor about exercises you can do at home, worked for me! Good luck!

Depends on how far along you are? Doctors aren’t too concerned about position until after 36 weeks normally as they can turn before that. 
Has your baby been transverse a while or is that just the position you think baby is in?
Our little girl has been in the same position since 16 weeks, I’m now 35 weeks and I’m 99.9% sure she’s still in the same position as she still kicks in the same places and I’m sure I can feel her head at my belly button! (Shes extended breech). My doctor is doing a scan in a weeks time and if she’s still in the same position it’s looking like a section as an ECV isn’t an option as it’s my first baby and even if it was I would refuse it.
