Is the halo swivel bassinet worth the splurge?

Just curious if it’s worth the splurge :)

My baby sleeps fine in it but the swivel isn't very smooth anymore (baby girl is almost 3 months but it started around 1 month) so I don't move it with her in it. I'm afraid it will wake her up :/  worked great when she was a newborn, which is when I wanted to stare at her constantly anyway. Now it's okay if there's a little space between. As long as I can hear and see her

I got a used one for $100 and it was worth that price. I liked it, but we only needed it for 2 months. Lending it to another family now.

It’s a nice bassinet for sure, but you can buy a second hand one for much cheaper and just buy a new mattress and sheets so the surface your baby sleeps on is new. They even sell organic mattresses and sheets so that’s worth the splurge in my opinion. We only used the bassinet for 8 weeks because my son was ready to move into his crib at that point, but he did sleep quite well in his bassinet and it was a godsend after my emergency c-section, so I was glad we had it.

I have it and agree that it wasn’t worth the price.  Luckily my baby likes his crib so the transition won’t be hard.  But yes a waste of money

Nope nope nope! Bassinets r used for too short a time to be worth that much money! I paid less for my crib!!

No. It’s only useful for a few short months!

I’ve heard it’s not. Had my SIL and several friends get it at their baby showers and then not really use it either because baby hated it and would not sleep in it or I’ve also heard even if they did sleep it’s not worth it because they grow out of it so fast.
We co-slept with the dockatot so I can’t say from personal experience, just what I’ve heard.
